Nebraska will kick off the 2008 Husker football season at home on Saturday, Aug. 30 against Western Michigan, and you can get tickets for all the 2008 Husker football games at Ticket Express.
The season starts with the Huskers playing host to Western Michigan, who will be an improved team in 2008. The following week is the first of consecutive tilts against WAC programs. San Jose State comes to Nebraska on Sept. 6, while New Mexico State Aggies visit Memorial Stadium on Sept. 13.
After a week off, Nebraska will face a certain 2008 national title contender on Sept. 27 when they host to Virginia Tech, and will open Big 12 play the following week against defending North Division champion Missouri on Oct. 4.
Nebraska hits the road for the first time on Oct. 11, as they travel to Texas Tech in what could very well be a high-scoring battle. After that, the Huskers go on the road again to meet old Big Eight rival Iowa State on Oct. 18.
Baylor visits Lincoln for Homecoming on Oct. 25, then Nebraska is back on the road again on Nov. 1, facing traditional rival Oklahoma in what should be a key matchup for the Huskers as they entertain bowl and Big 12 championship game hopes at this point.
Kansas comes to Lincoln on Nov. 8, which should be interesting after the Jayhawks ran up 76 points against Nebraska in their 2007 matchup. That game is followed by the Huskers' last road game of the year at Kansas State on Nov. 15, and they finish the regular season the day after Thanksgiving with Colorado at home on Friday, Nov. 28.
