The Nebraska football team worked out for 90 minutes early Saturday morning, and after a little break, the team will get back together on Christmas Eve to begin preparations for the challenges the Wildcats will bring to the table at the Pacific Life Holiday Bowl.
Arizona finished tied for second in the Pac 10 this year and had three defensive players named to All-Conference honors by The Sporting News. Named to this year's team were end Ricky Elmore, tackle Earl Mitchell and cornerback Trevin Wade, all of whom helped lead an Arizona defense that was ranked 21st in the nation in total defense.
Nebraska's defense, of course, was one of the top teams in the nation this year, nearly capping the season with a major upset before losing 13-12 to Texas in the Big 12 Championship.
